I definitely can't seem to get the white to look effective on the minis without taking it to bleached bone which instantly makes them look like Chaos Blood Ravens. So I'm going to try the above...

I definitely can't seem to get the white to look effective on the minis without taking it to bleached bone which instantly makes them look like Chaos Blood Ravens. So I'm going to try the above...

Hmm, not my cup of tea, to be honest, but it's not my army after all *Smiles* so who am I to decide, heh.
Personally, I think brown's an underrated colour, and if you're still at the testing colour-schemes and such, then might I suggest you try mixing a brown into the reds, to get a more darker look, and then the white in between?
An the other hand, white and brown, even if it is reddish, might be too close to your fantasy army, and it might be too much similarity, when you in reality could use something entierly different...
'unforgivenangel' suggested weathering the white down, though... might work...?
Anyways, I'll look with keen interest on whatever you decide on! Good luck finding the colours!
