I've started work on the Slaaneshi Sorcerer early. I'm going to keep this one fairly close to my chest until he's finished then will show the WIP pics if people are interested in seeing them. I plan on entering this guy into a painting competition being held by my gaming club so want to try and do a really good job on him.
I have all of his fluff and background written out. So I'm going to be a tease and post just the first sentence of his description here for now.
Once a great performer in the Altdorf theatre, his true name since forgotten.
Of course, keeping an eye on my Twitter Tweets might provide some more snippets!
On a completely unrelated note, I recently came by this fab old mini.
I always wanted one back in the day when I had an undead army and always wanted this fella in there. I've purposely left out his name here as I'm curious to see how many people remember this mini!
Haven't decided what I'm going to do with him yet. Whether just to build him up and paint him as is or convert him for my chaos army. He does after all carry the Chaos Runesword...

Cool mini, I still got mine with me after all these years :) But I traded my rider for a High Elf Lord and a Unicorn...
Is it something like Deiter Hellsnicht?
I remember the miniature, though never had one. I never liked the rider much, but always loved the manticore. I think he might have featured in one of the better White Dwarf battle reports, although I can't remember who it was against. I have a feeling it was Empire...
Anyway, good find!
Angelic Despot
Full marks to Angelic Despot - it is indeed Dieter Helsnicht. It is a shame that he is no longer a special character. Along with him and Egrimm Van Horstmann were two of my favourite characters.
Yep, it is indeed The Doom Lord himself :) It's a lovely old mini (and the manticore is I think much better than the current DE one). As M mentioned Egrimm he's next on my list to procure as I always wanted one when I was younger. Sadly Egrimm goes for silly money on Ebay usually, will have to keep my eyes peeled! Thanks for the comments! :D
