Looking very good Elazar, I'm thinking maybe an edge highlight on the saddle - although with the rider on top noone will see, so not sure if it is any point to it..
Your colour scheme's perfect once again, so keep on painting!
Thanks Noeste. On these pics the saddle and harness still needs highlighting as you've pointed out but also it will be mostly covered up but for the sake of completeness I'll do it, I did the same on all the other cavalry models. It doesn't seem right not to finish them that way! :)
Also got to shade the gold chains etc, then paint the extra details like the hands pinned to the harness, skulls, and the hour glass. On that subject don't suppose anyone has any good tutorials on painting a glass effect for the hour glass. Not sure how I'm going to do it at the minute! :s
Hmm, yes, the hour glass... Have never tried to paint one myself, but I think using Vomit Brown for the sand would be a good idea..? Then Ice Blue for the "air", blend it with Skull White very much like you'd do a gemstone - Ice Blue being the darkest colour, pure Skull White the light reflex.
Not sure how it'd match the other colours you've used, though - best of luck painting it!
Looking good!
